The Awalim of Mohammad Ali Street and Public Entertainment Halls 

A dance and music show with a historical twist. Sherifa, Amina and the Aswan Dancers will present a glimpse of past times following the Awalim and the Ghawazi from the salat on Mohammad Ali Street onto the stages of Ezbakiya Park and environs and onto the silver screen of the golden era of Egyptian music and dance. Join us as we take you on an imagined journey to the past.

Music found on recordings from the turn of the 20th century and 

live music by the Pasha Band will help you to live another time, another century.
